New Director of Litigation Joins AI Justice Team

We are excited to welcome our new Director of Litigation, Joseph Anderson. Mr. Anderson comes to us with a broad range of experience.  His wealth of litigation experience stems from more than a decade of work at a large Washington, D.C. law firm where he rose to become partner and also handled numerous pro bono matters involving human and civil rights.  He has been working as a solo practitioner since his relocation to Miami.  Mr. Anderson received his bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary, attended the University of Virginia School of Law, and subsequently served as a law clerk for both state appellate and federal district court judges.

A second generation American, Mr. Anderson’s grandparents immigrated to America from Lithuania and Italy, joining the millions of others who came to America seeking a better life for their families. “It is an honor to join the Americans for Immigrant Justice team. As it was for my grandparents, I realize that for the millions of undocumented people, today the American Dream is the dream to be an American. I look forward to contributing to AI Justice’s continuing efforts to help every immigrant realize that dream,” he said.
