How can I be sure that AI Justice manages its funding properly?

A:

Each year, certified public accountants audit AI Justice’s financial statements, and we are proud to have had a clean audit every year.  We are a Gold Level member of GuideStar, USA, Inc., an information service specializing in reporting on U.S. nonprofit companies.  Our nonprofit organization federal tax return (Form 990) is available on GuideStar for review.

We carefully steward our funds to ensure that they are used on our programs and that we are as efficient as possible when spending money on administrative items.  89% of our funds are spent on the work that furthers our mission.

About Us:

AI Justice is an award-winning non-profit law and advocacy firm that protects and promotes the basic human rights of immigrants. In Florida and on a national level, we champion the rights of unaccompanied immigrant children; advocate for survivors of trafficking and domestic violence; serve as a watchdog on immigration detention practices and policies; and speak for immigrant groups who have particular and compelling claims to justice.
